Sunday in Suburbia

Last Sunday I went out of town for a day trip to visit some of my mom's family in Salinas, CA.
Since I was wearing a dress that I recently bought at this super adorable boutique in Alameda a few weeks ago, I thought it'd be good to shoot for the blog. As soon as i saw this dress I knew i had to have it. The black and white detailing around the collar and the sleeves is to die for. The color of the dress itself is a nice mint/ light blue, my grandma described it as Pistachio. The texture is also really interesting, it has ridges but not in a rough way, it stretches easily and is very comfortable. Can't wait to wear dresses more often now that the sun is out and the rain has subsided!

Amaya

Lazy Days

Today was the chillest Saturday I've had in a while. Met up with Daniel and his brother, as well as his brother's girlfriend, to roam around Bay St. in Emeryville for a bit. Then we parted ways and Danny and I headed towards the UC Berkeley campus. Wandered about and ended up finding our way near the Campanile, so we had to take pics since we were blessed with gorgeous weather all day.

Here are our fits for lazy Saturdays. Hope ya'll are enjoying your weekend!

XO - Amaya

Introduction

Hey guys, this is our intro to our blog. Think of it as us introducing ourselves to you.

I'll start off by introducing myself first. My name is Amaya and i'm 19 years old. Born and raised in the Bay Area, where I currently still reside and attend college. If I had to describe my style, I would say that i'm a chameleon. I love changing it up and wearing all types of things from different eras. There's a part of me that is a vintage enthusiast. I absolutely adore styles from the 50's & 60's, but I also tend to rock a lot of 90's grunge inspired things. There's also a part of me that admires modern womenswear, such as trousers and blazers. So I guess its safe to say that I love fashion, and enjoy switching things up from time to time.

'Sup ya'll, this is Daniel. I'm a 14 year old student who likes trying new things in life that can benefit me in the future. I'd like to describe myself as someone who has an old soul. Like Amaya, I have a deep love for 50's, 60's, and 90's fashion. So yeah, stick around to witness our fashion evolution.
